Social Tournaments is an innovative online gaming platform boasting a plethora of free tournaments, where players can reap real money rewards and more. The Tournaments page features a regularly updated schedule of tournaments for the coming day, week, or month ahead. In addition to the schedule, there is a separate section featuring the results of every single tournament.

There are a few tournament mechanics running on our platform: Total Win, Multiplier Win, Bonus Buy, and Mission.

Total Win

The Total Win tournament type is straightforward, being the most similar to regular online slot games. You have a limited number of spins and a fixed bet level; your final score is what you win during the course of the game.

Example:

John uses his first spin and wins 10 points.

On his second spin he does not win anything.

On his third spin he wins 20 more points. John currently has 30 points.

Multiplier Win

The Multiplier Win tournament is designed to only consider your highest multiplier. You have a limited number of spins, a fixed bet level and your final score is the highest multiplier you got during the play session.

Example:

Jane uses her first spin and gets a x40 multiplier. Her score is now 40.

On her second spin she gets a x30 multiplier. Her score is still 40 – only the highest multiplier is counted towards score.

Jane uses her third spin and gets a x45 multiplier. Her score is now 45.

Bonus Buy

The Bonus Buy tournament type is unique from a conceptual point of view and only works with a particular game mechanic, i.e. Feature Buy or Bonus Buy. Right now, this feature is available in some of the games, for example, Sweet Bonanza – during a regular Sweet Bonanza game, you have the opportunity to purchase a free spins round by paying a value equal to x100 of the total bet. 

In a Bonus Buy tournament, you get 10 free Bonus Buy opportunities, with 10 free spins each (for a total of 100 free spins) with a chance to win more spins along the way.

This particular type of tournament currently has two varieties – Total Win and Multiplier Win.

• The Total Win variety, when applied to a Bonus Buy tournament means that your final score is based on the sum of points you won during the 10 free spin rounds.

Example:

John uses the first free spin round. During the 10 spins, he wins 40 points.

John uses the second free spin round. During the 10 spins, he wins 120 points. His score is now 160.

• The Multiplier Win variety, when applied to a Bonus Buy tournament means that your final score is the highest multiplier you got during the 10 free spin rounds. Each of the 10 rounds consists of a minimum of 10 free spins, so the multiplier score for the round is the sum of multipliers you got during those spins.

Example:

Jane uses her first free spins round. During the 10 spins, she gets a 10x multiplier, then a x50 multiplier. Her score is now 60.

Jane uses her second free spins round. During the 10 spins, she gets a x10 multiplier, then a x40 multiplier. Her score is still 60, based on her previous round.

Jane uses her third free spins round. During the 10 spins, she gets an x80 multiplier. Her score is now 80x.  

 Mission Tournament 

This is a special type of tournament built on the mission system: you collect points with every spin and by achieving missions. The mission system is made up of four small objectives the player needs to achieve in order to collect points: 

• The “Win 3 times in a row” mission rewards 140 pts  
• The “Win 2 times between certain limits” rewards 300 pts  
• The “Win over between certain limits” rewards 500 pts  
• The “Lose 3 times in a row” rewards 70 pts 

Let’s take an example:  

Jane plays a Mission Tournament and she lost 3 times in a row. This means Jane won 100 points: 10 points on each of the three spins and 70 points for achieving the “Lose 3 times in a row” mission. 

Besides these mechanics, there are also slot tournaments that run for a certain period of time or award specific prizes:  

Monthly Tournament – To participate in the Monthly Tournament, players need to obtain a Golden Ticket. This type of tournament contains the largest prize pool of all. The Golden Ticket can be earned from the Golden Ticket Tournaments, Lootboxes or purchased directly from the Social Tournaments store. 

Daily Tournament – There are several daily tournaments running where cash prizes can be won.

Golden Ticket Tournament – Playing the Golden Ticket Tournament is your gateway to the Monthly Tournaments, if you win a Golden Ticket within this Tournament, your golden pass to the monthly will be granted. 

Weekly Qualifier Tournament – To gain a Weekly Final ticket to enter the Weekly Final tournament running 24 hours on Sunday, you will need to participate in the Weekly Qualifier tournaments. You can also get the ticket from the store or a Weekly Final lootbox. Bear in mind that the ticket can only be used on that week. 

Coins Buy-in Progressive Pool Tournament – This tournament can be joined with coins and offers a chance of winning more coins. The prize pool will increase based upon the number of participants joining. 

Special Tournament – The Special Tournaments can take place according to the season or just at random, where there may be a specific theme and slot game and a whole host of cash prizes to be won. 

Weekly Final Tournament – The Weekly Final Tournament runs weekly on a Sunday and lasts for a total of 24 hours; it offers the highest prize pool of the week out of all tournaments. 

Monday – Friday Tournament – A cash prize tournament which runs daily from Monday to Friday. 

Turbo Tournament – The Turbo Tournament allows players to reset their scores in a tournament until they are satisfied with the way that they have played. This type of tournament is usually limited to special occasions. 

NewBie Tournament – A weekly tournament open for Free, only to newly registered players of the week, with Cash Prizes for the luckiest of players. 

Buddy Pass Tournament – You’ll need a “Buddy Pass Ticket” to enter this tournament that takes place every alternate Saturday, prizes include both Cash Prizes and Coins! For more details on how to get this ticket, check out our Referral Guide.

Happy Hours slot tournament – runs for 24 hours on weekend days – one on Saturday and the other on Sunday. It is free to join and has two modes: the standard mode with normal tournament gameplay and the Happy Hours (between 14 UTC and 20 UTC) mode, during which players can reset their score without a limit. 

Lucky Losers Slot Tournament – this slot tournament is held every Monday, runs for 24h, and can be joined by players who haven’t won any cash rewards in the past week (Monday – Sunday). Player must have completed at least 1 normal tournament and not winning cash rewards in the past week.

Daily 1x Reset Weekly Slot Tournament – this is a free slot tournament, meaning you don’t need a ticket or coins to join it. It runs for 1 week, from Monday to Sunday, and holds cash prizes. The special twist in this tournament is that players can reset their scores every day, giving them more chances to land higher scores. 

Double or Nothing Tournament – this tournament can be joined with coins and rewards the top 50% ranking players on the learderboard with double the entry coins.

FTN Tournament – this slot tournament is centered on the cryptocurrency FTN. It’s free to play but you’ll need FTN set as payment method in order to get your winnings. This means you’ll need an FTN account – you can register either on Fastex or, for an easier signup process, you can create an account on Tutumway. Casino Tournament – this type of tournament is available exclusively for Social Tournaments players. The Casino Tournament follows the same winning mechanisms (Total Win or Bonus Buy) as all our other tournaments, with its prizes being available at the casino sponsoring it. Prizes range from Free Spins at Pragmatic Play slots to bonus money – all available exclusively at said casino. Every Casino Tournament will be announced via email as it does not have a preset frequency.
